We write to affirm the truth that Black lives matter. We stand in solidarity with those fighting for racial justice.

As we attempt to grapple with the pain and suffering reverberating around us this week, we acknowledge that injustice towards people of color is and has been a perpetual feature of American life and history.

We can no longer remain silent nor passive. Starting today, we commit to being better: to examine our biases, educate ourselves, undertake anti-racist work, engage in uncomfortable conversations about race and privilege, and indeed, use our own privilege and resources to advance justice.

As a women’s health company, we are especially attuned to the disparities in health outcomes among Black women due to the toxic impact of systemic racism. Elektra is committed to helping dismantle those disparities in our work and through supporting the work of others.

We’re getting started by matching donations up to $5,000 to the Black Women’s Health Imperative, the only national organization dedicated solely to improving the health and wellness of our nation’s 21 million Black women and girls.
