Dineasha Potter-McQuilkin is a double board-certified OB/GYN and Lifestyle Medicine physician, as well as a Menopause Society-Certified Practitioner. Passionate about midlife women’s wellness, she combines expertise with compassion to empower women during this transformative life stage.
Gail DeLasho
MD, FACOG, MSCP
Gail DeLasho is a physician and consultant, board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology, and certified to provide menopause care by The Menopause Society. She has always had a keen interest in menopausal health and is enthusiastic about increasing access to care through virtual health services.

Kara Govoni is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), Menopause Society-Certified Practitioner, and an AASECT Certified Sexuality Counselor. She has worked as a full-scope CNM for the past 13 years in both obstetrics and gynecology but over the past five years has honed her speciality to sexual health and midlife care.

Laurel Edmundson is a board-certified Family Physician and Menopause Society-Certified Practitioner who has been in practice for 19 years. She has broad experience, having worked in emergency and family medicine, college health, and urgent care settings. What do you treat?
Elektra experts can treat menopause symptoms including hot flashes, sleep concerns, fatigue, vaginal dryness/painful sex, and more. We can also address health concerns like high cholesterol, hypothyroidism, hypertension, anxiety/depression, etc.
How does Elektra evaluate and treat menopause?
Elektra follows an evidence-based approach following guidelines set forth by The Menopause Society. This includes the use of FDA-approved hormonal and non-hormonal medications.
Does Elektra just prescribe hormonal treatment? Or non-hormonal as well?
Elektra clinicians can prescribe both hormonal AND non-hormonal prescription treatments as well as trusted supplements.
How much do visits cost?
As an Aetna Better Health® of Illinois member, your visit will be 100% covered by insurance with no cost to you.
Is there a monthly membership fee?
Nope! There is no membership fee — and you also won't pay extra for access to the education/community platform and coaching.
