MEET THE EXPERT
Alicia C. Saunders
Dr. Alicia Saunders has a background in the Arts as well as Medicine. She studied at the University of Maryland and Goucher College, and attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine as a Chancellor's Scholar. She completed her residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center and went on to hold both faculty and private practice roles at Mount Sinai as an Obstetrician Gynecologist. Dr. Saunders specializes in patient-centered health education and empowering women’s personal medical decision making. Inspired by Dr. Saunders' own personal battle with cancer - she has taken an interest in educating women about the hormone-related effects of cancer and its therapies.
